How can I age date my new pre- civil war rope bed? Would the bolts be enough ? I can send pictures.

I have inherited an antique rope/peg bed that is unique in construction as compared to what I can find online. In order to not damage it I had a custom mattress made for it some years ago.
It is held together by "turning" the logs into the posts. Not the traditional mortised joining that I find online. It has no hardware in the assembly but does require 4 people to set it up. I am enclosing a couple of pictures of the bed. I am looking for some leads on its age and value. Sorry I do not see a way to insert pictures.

I have an older four poster bed with pegs. I have ordered a mattress and was trying ti figure out how to create a support. Heavy duty brackets were also screwed in the the bed at one point to hold a traditional box spring. I was going to construct a wood support. I'm wondering now about the sacking bottom- especially in terms of comfort. Thank you, Chloe
